weds we went sentosa lols. got brian wei xiong ping hui jian yu agnes jack sim chua shaun marvin dyran candy and me. ya correct i think.

anyway we reach there bout 1? 1+? not sure. then play awhile volleyball then rain. knn. then we go the pizza shop there sit down and have a pizza. at silso beach one. not bad lah. lol. 20$ a pizza. -.- 3 people share. lol.

sry whole week busy. was at my friend chalet. at costa sands resort. weds thurs and fri.

LOL. the pincers got cooked properly but dono why the body there cannot cook properly one. like watery like that. but nvm la just eat. =x then play dai di till dono what time then go home. lol. then friday pon-ed poke wire lecture. sian one leh. i 10.10 wake up. then relax awhile then 10.30 cab to school. 5$ sia. fuck nyp. so far away, then go class at 11. ytd i went to thompson's icecube and started my first day of work for them. at first suppose to be at serangoon garden's outlet. ytd 4+ they call me and said change to thompson there. ok lor go there quite nice. i kinda like it place. blue lightings. from what i see customer's orders, volcanic eruption , waffles, fundue quite popular. but i would really like to try their MAGIC POTION. lol.
so when i go in. the staff told me about the table numbers, serving bla bla bla. then talk so much le. ask me go wash dishes. power la this one. if early wan me wash then just say dun ask me remember table number, menu, toppings, fillings, icecreams. when u dun even wan me take order. -.-. i work from 7.30 to 2am. but they quite funny one the pay is 7.30 to 1.45am. so its 6 hours 15mins. -.-. and its 4.50 per hr. so its 6 x 4.5 + ( 4.5 / 4) = $28.125. funny -.- anyway their pay is given every 1st of the month. xia suay i start 1st of nov. so i need wait 30 days for my pay. lol. the staff not bad at thompson's one. sorry la i dono how to spell thompson. anyway one bad thing is. no smoking break. so its 6 hours + w/o smoking. thats a record for me =)

and because of the work i missed out my soccer matches. knnpcb. argh. so no updates =) sorry zaki xD. next week yeah.

Food : Spaghetti. not bad. abit sour taste. they added garlic. brings a light touch to it. 5/5

Food : Soup of the Day. It was mushroom soup. this was the first soup that i had that was not too creamy. u see pizza hut de soup, all soup nothing inside. this one got. got those small small mushroom in every scoop. shiok right? then they got the pepper grinder. but auto one. then got like come out from the grinder also. fun.

Food : lava something. I think they dint serve once it came out. cause the brownie was not that hot already. the food is brownie but inside got warm chocolate and 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream. 3/5

Food : some beef something. Small portion. But great taste. the have some sauce. mustard + something. not very sure. eat with the meat. then feels like heaven. dam shiok. with mashed potatos. but their mashed potatos not really well mashed 4/5

Food : Prata. as my friend , sean , knew the staff. we could get extra. this prata was freshly made. the dough was specially made as they dint had prata in their menu. lols. the prata was soft yet abit crispy. the curry was just nice for me. but too hot for sean.

total cost 80$ we had 50% discount so 40$ + 10% gst + 7% service = around 47? lol. not bad eh?

ok when we get there. it was like this. the place is at geylang there lah. dono where. somewhere there. ok picture this.

U get down of the car. First thing u notice. How busy the valet staff is. they were frantic. head full of sweat. and asking "ok ni gen wo de ren zou. ta dai ni qu park che".

Then the first glance of the place is.

U see probably a quater of a football field. filled with those big round tables. probably 50 tables? i dono. fucking squeeze. then the staff ask. SNAKE-ED THROUGH. fucking hell. the tables was so unevenly placed. and the gap inbetween the tables was just enough for a person to walk through. so imagine if someone was sitting there. how to walk? then snake-ed lor.

then we wait for my father to park the car. wait like 15mins. i also dono he park at where park so long. then we order. then we order drink. i ask them got what can drinks? then the chinatard say "wo men she me guan shui dou you" proudly like that. then i wanted to drink heaven and earth green tea. so i ask. " "lui cha jiu shi lui cha ma. she mou tian yu di". then she walk away. this is the service of the no sign board staffs. the restaurant no sign board. the staff also no politeness nothing! nothing at all. then she come and serve the drink. then she give me the pokka green tea. i dun like pokka. too sweet. no green tea taste. so i tell her i dowan this. then she say" len (then) ni yao she mou " i said soya bean drink. then she jitao take the green tea and walk away. fuck her. whole family die.

ok the first dish - drunken prawns
the prawn was not nice. it was rather hard. dint really like it.
the soup, not that nice as well. alot of the herbs. so 1/4 of the whole pot is herb. 1/2 is prawn. then leave 1/4 of the pot for soup lor.

second dish - brocolli
not bad. not too hard. not too soft. but abit tasteless. i also dono wtf dish.

third dish - chicken
this one nice. a little bouncy. yet soft.

fourth dish - some you tiao thingy
not nice.

fifth dish - noodles
this noodle is the one... the fat one. but it looks over fat.

sixth dish - chilli crab
the chilli crab is nice. the chilli is nice. fucking huge pincers too. sri lankan crabs. say.. a rating of 8/10. the best crab i had so far is still in penang. but this one had me almost licking the plate for the chilli. after i cleared all of them.

seventh dish - black pepper lobster
the lobster is quite large. then also the meat inside got the black pepper taste. the lobster nice. the black pepper too much pepper. i dono but i dun like.

eighth dish - soursop jelly water? i dono.
this desert helps to cool the mouth after the crab.

"Melamine, used to make plastics and fertilizer, has been found in infant formula and other milk products from 22 Chinese dairy companies. Suppliers trying to cut costs are believed to have added it to watered-down milk because its high nitrogen content masks the resulting protein deficiency.
Agriculture Minister Sun Zhengcai told a meeting with the health and public security ministries that the industrial chemical melamine was likely added at stations that collect milk from small individual dairy farmers."Since milk stations began only in recent years, the country now has no specific method of supervising them, or clear-cut supervision department.
The purchasing process of raw milk is basically out of control," Sun said, according to a summary of his comments posted Tuesday on his ministry's Web site."

I was reading about the melamine from China milk products. i was reading half way when i saw this.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has called milk manufacturers "heartless" and promised stricter laws to protect the public.

I must say. Sakura is worth 24++,if u can eat lah. got quite a variety.
Not often seen in normal buffet.
Ribeye. Dory fish. Salmon. Mussels. Clams. Oysters. Sushi. cakes.kuay lapis. Fruits. Veggie. Chawamushi. Sharkfin soup. Black chicken soup. Roasted duck and white chicken. Laksa. Prawn. Fish otah. Cold noodles(i dono what u call it in jap).
Quite a variety eh?

The good ones - Chawamushi prawn oyster clam mussel dory salmon cakes kuay lapis veggie.
The bad ones- sharkfin soup black chicken soup. duck chicken otah.
The dono ones- fruit laksa cold noodles cause i never try.
The ok ones- Everything.

Still hot. can taste the egg. Smooth.
Prawn dory salmon oyster clam mussel. A MUST EAT!
All are oven baked ones,with cheeze and tomato on top the oyster. others are with cheeze.
How many buffet u went to, with oyster clam mussels baked every minute?
Cause once they are out. i sapu all gone. :p
I especially liked their cheesecake. Forgotten whats the name. dono lah. forget.
The cake is cut into bite size. So easy.
Their cheesecake , althou cannot compare to those Cafe Cartel, Starbucks Cheesecake.

Sakura eat 24++ also eat other good thing too.
Their kuay lapis also nice. I like kuay lapis since young.

The black chicken soup also one kind. dam funny one.
The label put 'Black Chicken Soup' but cannot find black chicken.

Like any other buffet. duck and chicken is avaliable.
But also like any other buffet. their duck and chicken meat is hard and rubbery.
So if u wanna buffet on duck and chicken only. Sakura is not the place for you.
Their ration also 3 to 4 pieces of meat. thats it.

Another dish was the Rib Eye
YES they do serve rib eye, but roughly also around palm size only.
Half hour of waiting too.
U cannot choose how well done u want the rib eye to be. So they all cook well done.
but their well done, is abit too well done.
The piece of meat too small too thin not nice.
But for 24++ and the variety of food. What more can u choose? haha.
Fruits, Cold Noodles , Lamb shoulder all i never try.
But fruits my brother say nice.
Lamb shoulder still okay for my dad.
Cold noodles not really nice.

Overall,
Sakura is worth the money, but not suitable to go everyday.
A family outing will be good.
i rate 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Yesterday me and a few friend go lentor reservoir and fishing leh.
I cabbed my ass all de way down to changi village. 24$ -.-. si beh chor.
went there talk cock. then go changi beach. and talk more cock. then go bus stop.
then talk more more cock. then bus back to sengkang.

then bla bla bla.

then went to teck house eat dinner. (not zaki de teck =O).
then go hougang stadium wait for jerome and ah black and black's family and go fishing.
That fucking ah black. ask him faster then he go play soccer. then jek tio (i dono how to say in english) his leg.
Then cb he limping all the way to the busstop. took the bus 854 all the way to the lentor reservoir.
Hear ah black's family kpkb all the way. Jerome and ah black's brother, James, went to some fishing shop and get baits.
We reached there about 9+. then go there put things.

then ah black try to fish. but kio tio seeweed nia. then gave up.
We sat down and slack and talk cock.

Then teck say simi banana split. this one not cut half. this one also cut the head and the end off. then he kpkb say he go the Rivervale Plaza there buy the banana longer and cheaper.

The banana split come wit vanilla strawberry and chocolate icecream. 1 cherry. 1 biscuit. then got cream. and small nuts all around.
Then their icecream spoon dam long. and the surface also very small. and when the icecream melt abit then very easy slip off.
Then difficult to use their spoon and cut the banana.
Teck du lan. he jitao use hand eat. LOL. then after awhile my baked rice come liao.

If some of you dont know. im quite a fussy eater. and i like to eat.
So here comes my comment on Swensens' salmon and mushroom baked rice. which cost 11.20$++(i dono how many +++ is there) if u buy. And the ice cream and fries.

The dish is simple. rice below. salmon center. mushroom all around. cheese all around, then bake. so come out is melted cheese on top.

1) The cheese was not really nice. but not really not nice. so still can. (im not a fancy cheese eater)
2) The mushroom was too small. so u cant really taste it. so u actually taste the cheese.
3) The Salmon. OMG. The F***ing salmon was so dam salty.
- Too small piece. its like smaller then my palm? F***ing hell. 11.20++! oh my tian.
- The salmon was not properly cooked. ( my mom cooks salmon. so i roughly know how its like)
4) Remember about the rice underneath? the rice is so DOTS!
- hide underneath. No taste. No sauce. Hard.

Uh? omg? 11.20++ around 13$? With 13$ i can go chomp chomp eat till full.
13$ can do much more then that.

BUT ...

Anyway its a free voucher so... nevermind lor.

Remember all the big hoo haa! about Swensen's icecream being nice and all?
i dun think so now.
their banana spilt wasnt that fantastic for 8.90$.
Their banana split of that standard can get at elsewhere about same price. but BIGGER.
Icecream cake wise... im not sure. very long never had swensen's icecream cake liao.
The fries was also not that really good to eat. not worth the price. not sure about 4 or 5$ around there.

We departed swensens with smaller wallets, heart pain and regrets. =(
